Why do random pop-up appear?

Frequently ,when I'm casually on my kindle , a pop up appears displaying over what I'm trying to do and I can't find the source of it, I tried uninstalling what I thought was the cause of it but they still appeared .They are usually promoting kids games that i don't think exist and very frequently i get a pop-up asking for permission to install a game called “UNICORN" and I think of i once accidentally press it ,it can cause a lot of harm to my device and Steal my Amazon information

Hi @buckywawa ,

Download, install and run an anti malware app to see if it picks up any malware or viruses in your tablet.

It should run as a “free Premium trial”, so that you can use it to check your tablet before having to pay for it, if you decide to keep it.

It didn't find anything.. I tried a few apps get still , it couldn't find anything.

Hi @buckywawa ,

Try starting the tablet in "safe mode" and check if the problem is still there or not.

To get into "Safe Mode" :

1. First turn off the tablet.

2. Next press and hold the Power until you see the manufacturer's logo on the screen, then release the power button.

3. Quickly press the Volume Down button and hold it for few seconds until you see the message "Safe mode: ON" or something similar.

4. If you want to disable safe mode, simply repeat the steps above, and you should see "Safe Mode: OFF" rather than on.

It it works OK when in safe mode then a downloaded app is the cause of the problem. The trick is to find out which one
