Non 4K Display replace with a 4K possible?

Hello! is it possible to replace the display of the 21.5 inch iMac (non 4K) with a 4K display of the same year (or earlier)?

I am very happy with my model, because I have already modified it a bit and would not like to buy an extra 4k model to get 4k.
