a - Intel® Core™ i5-540M Processor
b - Intel® Core™ i5-520M Processor
c - Intel® Core™ i5-460M Processor
d - Intel® Core™ i5-450M Processor
e - Intel® Core™ i3-370M Processor
f - Intel® Core™ i3-350M Processor
g - Intel® Core™ i3-330M Processor
any i7 will draw more power than your machine was designed for and your BIOS will most likely not support any other processor than those listed.. To improve performance I suggest that you max out your RAM and change the HDD to an SSD

I have the same laptop with a intel core i3 370m and I upgraded the memory from 4GB to 8GB and I swaped the hard disk to an ssd and now my laptop is running windows 10 home.
