iPhone turns off when unplugged, error 1611 on attempted restore
Received minor water damage 1+ months ago. Dried out, haven't had issues until a few days ago. All moisture sensors white.
A few days ago I unplugged my phone from the wall charger, it turned off instantly. I went into DFU mode and attempted a restore. I get the error message 1611 in iTunes. Did a lot of research, sounds like a hardware issues. I started with the battery since it's the cheapest and logical. Replaced the battery, same issue.
What is the next step? Replace the dock connector? Power and sensor cable?
Thank you :)
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

Sure sounds like a battery issue or charging circuity damage, Maybe the dock port just needs to be cleaned very well with isopropyll alcohol. But anyway, try a regular Recovery Mode Restore. With iTunes open, hold down Home button and connect iPhone to computer with USB cable. Keep holding Home button until iTunes recognises iPhone in Recovery Mode, then Restore the Firmware.

Thanks Brad, I've already tried this. I might just take it to a local professional.
