Is there a way to get phone to power on without power button
Ribbon for power and volume button ripped need to power phone back up to get me through the next day or so

I do not think so. The majority of phones can only be turned on with the power button. Sometimes the screen will turn on with a notification, so you could try that. Some phones as well allow for the screen to be double tapped to be turned on. Have you allowed this feature? Hope this helps. Have a great day.
