Why ps3 downloaded and disc games not playing while blu ray movies do?

hi i have brought a ps3 recently and it was playing both disc and downloaded games perfectly and now all of a sudden it stop. It still plays downloaded, dvds and blu ray movies but when it comes to games the whole screen turns black and the system will froze i tried system restore, system reset, change hard drive and change disc drive bu nothing works. Plz help
