the only way the caller or receiver of my call can hear me is if I am on the bluetooth headset or have the loudspeaker on. It started after I cleaned my phone with rubbing alcohol and possibly got some in the tiny holes for the speaker. Its been 3 days and still a problem , what can I do?

70% alcohol I believe means it is 30% water which may the cause of your problem. It might have to be disassembled and water damage located.

Aye caramba.
I can’t tell for sure online yet but I think your model has an earpiece mic.
It appears the microphone in the earpiece is damaged(happened to my dads iPhone 6 too,but from water). Did you dump alcohol on it?
When you say you got some in the speaker holes,do you mean the bottom speaker or earpiece speaker(on the phone not your headset).
Either way,if your lucky,just the microphone is damaged and nothing else. The bad part is that it requires me.
