How to open frame the lcd screen is mounted in to change cable

I was really waiting for someone else to help you on this but no one has. I've done it and sweated bullets. I've also worked on Apples since 1979 and do it for a living. So if you're not comfortable with the inside of a powerbook, take to someone who is. Again, this is not an easy repair and there are many little things that can trip you up. For a beginner I would set aside four hours in a very quite place with the phone off the hook. Don't start and stop or you will never get it back together. Careful placement of your screws as they are removed in essential. Take pictures as you go along. Best of luck.
