Asking for a pattern I never used

I restored my tablet to factory settings. It's an Nextbook. Model #NX1648116KPB. It was slow, wouldn't work half the time. It locked up often. So I restored it and thought I'll just start over. Now it wants a pattern. I never used a pattern lock. I had a number lock. How do I get in to my tablet?
