Are there 2 different battery connectors on new note5 batteries?

Are there 2 different battery connectors on replacement galaxy note 5 batteries? I’ve heard that the connector tab is slightly different on replacement batteries causing some incompatibilities between certain note 5 versions. How do I avoid this when I purchase a replacement battery kit?

To be safe. Match the battery model to the model number of the phone.

Though I've never heard of this incompatibility problem on note 5s.
