Have you tested to be sure it’s the power switch causing the problem and not a faulty charger or something else? I have searched and find no pictures of the internal switch anywhere.

Yes, took it apart, tested all leads, determined problem in switch circuit board, bypassed the board with the negative wires, works now, but would prefer to have proper working switch.
Got a picture of the switch out of the machine? I’m good at finding stuff but need a reference picture.
I called sharp and was told they do not sell circuit boards for SV75Z_N. Here are some pics of the board
with the numbers SV75 14.4 volt

If you're good with micro-soldering, you could find a switch with the same power requirements as that one form most any electronics website. Since I don't do that kind of work, I can't offer any further suggestion. Best of luck!
I have a Shark Model SV75Z_N with the same switch and circuit board. After checking out which wires and circuits were affected by the switch with an ohm meter, I determined my problem was somewhere on the circuit board between the gray and black wire. The white motor wire was switched to the battery positive red wire on the circuit board and still worked fine.
I cut the gray wire close to the circuit board and spliced it to the heavier black wire from the battery pack to complete the battery negative to motor. It charges and runs.
I probably bypassed overload protection and who knows what else. Fire hazard maybe? At any rate, I'm not going to leave it plugged in when I go to bed!

I have the exact same issue, I notice on your picture that there is a big chemical capacitor (cylindrical thing above the switch on the picture) these are notorious to dry out over time and lose their capacity. If used in the circuit to determine the overcurrent issue, it could maybe be the culprit.. are you able to unsolder it, measure and eventually replace it ?
