Black Screen on my ASUS X455L

my asus X455L doesnt seem to open the light is lit but the one near the power botton is not blinking at all it should be blinking when my laptop is on and i cant seen to know if its on cause of the black screen i conncet it to my pc's monitor but it seems that i cant connect its also black and the pc's monitor in not turning on maybe the hdmi is the problem? my screen actually never open in my laptop but just a little while it turned on and then back to a black screen a already tried draining the exess bat. but it doesnt still open. and also i dont know if it had a ram on it?

what should i do?

With your system on, disconnect all of your external devices. This includes your mouse, keyboard, external hard drive, and so on. Restart your computer and see if you still get the black screen. If you don’t, plug each device in one at a time until you find what’s causing the problem.

As you have connected to an external monitor and screen is still black, it could be an issue with the video cable. You can try with a new cable. Make sure your cable supports the correct version of your display standard.
