The original network card in my MacBook Pro Early 2011 13” does not seem to have great network range. I have tried reseating the connectors on the network board with no success. Any help would be appreciated.

If you have a second mac system in the same series you could compare the signal strength.
Click on the WiFi menu icon while pressing the Option key it will allow you to see the signal levels and version info. You can also run WiFi diagnostics as well.
With a second Mac you can do a side by side comparison.
The problem is you could have a few different parts that could be failing here

I know this may seem like an old post now, but I have finally gotten round to this with the time off at the minute, I have used another laptop's antenna cable to test my network card, which connected to WiFi and works fine, and after further inspection, I noticed the antenna cables underneath the clutch cover were ripped, I have ordered the part you suggested and am looking forward to having my laptop function like new! Thanks for your help!

Can you give us some background here. What happened that made the WiFi signal hard to pick up. Did you move the WiFi router or change it out? Did you bang your system or get it wet?

@danj The system has been used normally by a family member since date of purchase, and one day, it just stopped working. It wouldn't have been water damage as there is zero corrosion anywhere, but a drop could be likely. I'm just looking into what parts might need replacing if I wanted to.
