Wifi adapter keeps dying

Okay, I have tried it, only time will tell if it was successful.

okay idk if this would fix mine but it kinda sounded like the same problem for me so I went ahead and did this hopefully I didn't really mess something up but I have bad connection when I move anywhere and it's not my internet or the hot spot so I thought it was my computer plz tell me you know of something else to update on my drivers or something i should do

It may be a loose antenna connection in the laptop.

if you go somewhere else and you know where the WiFi router is physically located (not easy to know this I know, unless you mean at home) try using the laptop as close as possible to the router. If there 's a good stable connection its looking like an antenna problem.

What is the make and model number of the laptop?

I just bought an Acer nitro from a pawn shop and to make a long story short, the wifi adapter (radio) is wore out. I'm waiting for them to fix it but looking at the prices on eBay, I would say just replace the card. It's about as easy replacing memory. The prices I saw were lesss than $15. I was a network administrator in my career (disabled now). I would replace the card before attempting anything with the antennas because on those gaming laptops to antennas wrap around the edge of the laptop itself and it can be a nightmare.
