My speaker stopped charging.
I've had an apparent short in my circuit forever but always found a way to charge it, by positioning the speaker just right. Now it is not charging at all. Any suggestions?

My best suggestion would be to replace the charging cable if the problem is cable side. If it's the plug itself unfortunately your going to have to open it up and do some soldering.

I am having the same problem, but I have isolated it to the power input board. Part number 30-678 Jack MP1. The USB connector has come apart and the board needs to be replaced. You will have to find an Altec Lansing repair shop to order a replacement board. Since the speakers are water proof you will have to pry the connecter out of the shell in order to remove power board and it will get ugly.

My micro input is fine. The center conductor looks like it’s pushed in.
