Signal lights and break lights randomly stopped working

I drove my 2004 Pontiac aztek to town today everything was fine I get out off walmart and start to drive home and when I turn on my signal nothing happens I can hear a noise when I turn it on but that's it no indicator lights . I have checked the fuse and it is not blown
