iPhone stuck on boot loop after lighting port replacement

I just replaced the charging port and tapic engine and now my phone is stuck in a boot loop. I went back and disconnected the front camera, home button, and doubled checked all connections. The only thing I noticed is that I did lose some screws during the process of checking things due to my children messing around and dropped the loose parts onto the carpet. I have ordered a screw kit which I’m hoping the issue is just the missing screws.

disconnect all flex cables except the dockconnector and battery to the logic board and boot your iphone, if it boots up then you can connect the flex cable one by one to look which causes the fault.

I think the board is not bad but the components you connect to the board one of them causes this boot loop.

Would a wrong sized tapic engine be a reason? They sent one for a 7 but needed a 7 plus and it's on back order which I'm waiting for them to get in stock

No errors, unable to even get in to recovery mode when plugged into computer. The only thing I can think of is they sent a tapic engine for a 7 which is to small which is not connected.

You may try hard reset it to see whether it works. This may be the simplest way to fix the issue. If it is helpful, you can also try restore your iPhone to factory settings. It’s an effective methods to solve many cases. Recover data from iPhone in advance before doing it.
