Can my phone(has cracks on it)be fixed after 3 months of water damage?

I know this sounds dumb but my phone has cracks on its screen and I accidentally spilled water on it. I waited for it to dry overnight and tried to charge it but it won’t open. It’s been 3 months since and I tried to open it again but it still won’t work. I tried doing stuff like charging it, pressing the power and volume down button simultaneously but nothing happened at all. What should I do? pls help me!!!

renyssa domingo there is always a chance to revive it. For now you want to stop charging your phone and trying to turn it on. Then you will have to disassemble it. Since you did not tell us the exact model for your phone we cannot comment on that. After that follow this guide to clean your phone. It was written for an Apple iPhone 3G but still applies to your phone. You will have to clean it to prevent corrosion afterwards. Once properly cleaned, replace the battery, and re-evaluate for any damage. Give it a try and see what you get. Hope this helps, good luck.

If your phone fell in water, you need to act fast. Simply allowing your phone to dry off completely on its own isn’t a good idea, as allowing the phone to dry on its own will lead to corrosion of the phone’s circuits, coils and resistors due to minerals in the water.

My only suggestion would be take your water damaged phone to a trusted repair shop and see if it worth a repair or get a new one.
