Hi,

Here’s a link to the freezer parts for the refrigerator.

Find part #473 and you will see the hole in the centre of the part. This is the drain hole. The part is located below the evaporator unit.

If you go to the Machine Compartment diagram, part # 993 & 994 you will find the drain tubes for both the refrigerator and freezer evaporator units where they drain into the evaporator pan under the fridge.

Thanks for the references/diagram

On my GE Cafe ) I simply removed the rear panel bottom of frig.

First remove power to the Frig!!!!!

The drain tube is center before you and is "j" shaped. Detaches easily from the top with a little jiggle.

I used a smaller diameter rubber hose pushed it into the top of the J.

Felt some resistance before it got to the bottom.. Ran hot water thru J. Clumps of black material (mold) washed out, flush til water flows smoothly.

Use CLR to clean up the 2 clear round plastic fittings atop the J before snapping the J back into place.

Before replacing the lower panel - use a soft brush vacuum head to suction off the dust deposited on the concave "?evaporator?" ( dark shaded cylinder #930 on diagram) I got it clean on the outer side but not accessible to interior of frig. You may want to use a damp microfiber cloth to clean up dust deposits in the bottom collection pan.

Remember to plug the power cord back in.
