Battery drain/lightning port not working

Has anyone experienced changing battery in iPhone X then it boots slow will only wireless charge and the lightning port not charging? Also if the phone is locked it does recognize cable has been plugged in and says must unlock to use this device. it’s an oem cable works fine with my 11 and iPad. My hypothesis is I damaged lightning port cable getting battery out which shorted port pulling down battery. Right now only wireless charging works here’s another thing it will charge to 100% with wireless but eating 6% an hour even in airplane mode. This phone was in terrible shape when I got it back was destroyed also front screen and frame bent. I have replace screen, back glass, battery, and front speaker assembly. I know Face ID is done but at least top speaker and mic work proxy still doesn’t I have ordered another lightning port cable but was just wanting second opinion

You could have knocked off a filter by the battery connection and it could be causing these issues. There is also a possibility that you have a bad tristar ic which controls charging and data transfer. You can have the tristar checked at most repair shops and it will only take a minute.

Thx I’m going to replace lightning port it will not charge or play music I will give update

Ok after lightning port change same problem it turns out the speaker proximity sensor or mic that I put on new display has a problem removed it and no boot no excess battery drain and charging port some what works now I think the one I installed is junk says accessory not supported so I think I induced that problem get a new earpiece prox Mic and new charging port coming I think I’ll be in business

Looks like Charging port is causing reboot every 3 minutes was wondering since I disconnected charging port from main and it still reboots every 3 minutes if no port gets treated same as faulty
