How would I separate my glass and lcd from the digitizer?

So, my digitizer works fine, it’s just the LCD and glass that’s damaged (it’s the common, “half the screen is white problem” ). Is there a way to separate the glass and LCD from my digitizer? And then meld my digitizer back in with the LCD and glass? I’ve seen lots of “Glass only” repair videos, but just replacing the glass has nothing to do with replacing the LCD, right? I’m questioning this, because I’ve seen videos labeled: “How to separate LCD from digitizer”, and it looks like they’re just separating the glass from the digitizer, so I’m a little confused.

First off that is not an lcd it is an Amold screen that is oled and that makes the job harder. Amold are used because they are much thiner. The oled is the expensive part so just buy the whole assembly. But I will still answer the question. You would need a digital temp controlled hotplate to heat the gel that glues the screens together then cuting wire to seperate the screens and then a desolving agent to remove the extra gel. Then you must glue your new Amold oled screen to your old front glass and digitizer and then the glue must be set using a uv light so that the glue can be trigered from under glass like how gel nails work. You can skip the glue but the screen will look foggy and dull. A cheap digital hot plate costs about $100. Cuting wire is cheap and so is the glue. The glue must be applied in an x pattern and the screen lowered from one side to spread the glue evenly with no bubbles. Be carefull with the solvent that removes the old gel. If the solvent gets on the underside of the Amold screen it will destroy it so clean the digitizer well. The heatplate helps when opening the phone too since the phone is glued shut.

Ah, all right, in that case I'll just get the whole assembly/a new device, thanks for the quick and very informative response!

Your welcome glad I could help. I did the seperations at my shop for a while but once screens from China flooded the market it was more expensive to charge labor than just buy the assembly and thats not talking about the stress level.
