After I take a photo, the menu buttons stop working.
After I press the shutter release, the photo is taken but then the menu buttons stop working. Unless I turn off and back on my camera, I am unable to use the menu buttons.
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

I'd try upgrading the firmware first if you have not already done this:
