What is the model number of the TV?

Have you "tuned" the TV for the cable TV stations? Look in the TV menus also there may be a setting to change from cable to TV antenna so that you don't tune for OTA (over the air -antenna) TV channels.

How is the TV connected to the internet, Wifi or via an Ethernet cable?

How is the cable box connected to the TV?
