Wasserschaden nicht klar identifizierbar

Hi

Macbooc a1466 hat eine sehr geringe Menge Wasser (eigentlich Tee) in die Tastatur abbekommen. Sofort ausgeschaltet und umgedreht. Aufgeschraubt zum Trockenreiben und Säubern, augenscheinlich hat nur die Tastatur ein Wenig abbekommen. Tastatur gewechselt. Nach Zusammenbau jedoch fährt der Rechner von alleine hoch bis ca 80% progress bar und hängt , Lüfter läuft auf voller Leistung. Logic board inspiziert und absolut keine Spuren von Flüssigkeitseindrang zu finden. Diagnose ohne Trackpad, Tastatur und Batterie sowie alternativem power/audio board und ssd bringt keine Unterschiede. Kann es wirklich nur noch das logic board sein? Oder gibt es noch weitere Möglichkeiten, die Diagnose einzuschränken?

Alternative boot modes funktionieren nicht, kein startup sound, verbose bringt mich gerade bis zum Punkt wo der full screen sich einmal voll ist. Auf NVRAM und sdm resets reagiert das system nicht und bootet wie normal (bis zum crash)

Diese Frage beantworten Ich habe das gleiche Problem

Take a look at the cpu and the gpu, the heat-conducting paste no longer works properly when it gets wet. Also look under the board, it could be that there is still some liquid residue.

Thanks for the reply. I did already take it out and check the underside, but it seems no liquid got past the backlight cover at all. I have now taken off, cleaned and put back together the heat sink but that did not solve anything, the system halts long before the gpu even gets a little warm.

Take out the RAM and look at the contacts, then (if there are two) you put one in first and look and if it still doesn't work the other one.

If the pc still does not boot you can try a new HDD or SSD.

Sometimes it helps to unplug everything and then reconnect and if not already done, plug the pc into the charging plug when you want to start it up.

Unfortunately, there can be many reasons why the pc won't start.

erm, you are really suggesting soldering off the ram? And I have replaced almost every single part, which obviously does involve plugging them out and back in again. Including the SSD (no HDD on an Air).
