will not turn on after battery change

Hi

The battery of my flip4 was struggling - it only worked for 15 min. before it was empty even though the indicator lights said it was fully charged. So I ordered a new battery.

It was hard to get the old battery out - it had expanded and was stuck but I managed with a drill. Now the new battery is in, but the flip can’t be turned on. It won’t turn on, not even if it’s plugged in.

Has anybody exchanged a flip4 battery and experienced the same? I am wondering if drilling I damaged some other part - but there is no obvious damage.
