Scratching noise - possible cause?

Hi there,

i accidentally dropped the speaker. It does still play, however there is a constant scratching noise which sounds a little bit like a radio broadcast with a bad reception. Does this give a hint on which part is most likely to be damaged? Thanks a lot for any guesses!
