Problem Connecting Zune 30 to Computer

I have Zune 30 that looks like in good shape and that I tried to connect to two different computers both having the Zune app. One running Windows 10 and the other Windows XP. Each time I connect it I can hear the sound made when connecting hardware, but neither the computer nor the app recognizes the Zune. Any help?

On r/Zune there’s a sticky thread with info on how to get newer Windows installs to recognize your Zune. There’s also links to archives for all the software, firmware, ect and even the original wallpapers.
