Pickup roller replacement, easier access?

Have a HP Officejet 6500A Plus printer that needs the pickup roller replaced. I have the part, but from looking at the printer it looks like there’s no way to remove the bottom to have quicker access to it? From Googling it looks like I would have to tear the entire thing apart just to get to it. Just checking to see if there are no alternative options.
