CFI-1000a 100V japanese ps5 in a 220V country

What will happen if i use a 250V 10A adapter for the ps5 default power cable to open it? Will the PS5 work normally or do i still have to buy a step down transformer?

I saw plenty of teardown videos where on the PSU itself it says 100-127 & 200-240, but on my PS5 near the screw hole for the stand it says 100V only and i dont want to tear it down all the way to see the PSU ratings.

Any help will be much appreciated
