No display on Gameboy

Hi guys.

One of my cousin's was getting rid of their old Gameboy which they'd not used in a while so took it off their hands to see if it could be fixed.

The battery contacts had some bad corrosion which I've managed to remove and it now turns out but there is nothing on the screen. I've attached photos of how everything looks. If anybody can give any advice it would be much appreciated
