Why does the inside of my iPhone x look different than everyone elses?

From what I can see the iPhone X has the little site clips on the end of the screen

however, the iPhone XR and XS do not have the clips on the end of the screen

what is your phones model number of the phone

Model numbers: A1865, A1901, A1902 for iPhone X

so it looks like when you have opened your phone the side clips have detached from the screen have a look at you old screen you have removed and you will most likely see where it has come off

Okay, the thing is, this is a standard iPhone X. The problem here is that for some reason the adhesive that holds the frame that is supposed to be on the display has failed, so when the screen was removed, all that came off was the LCD, leaving the mounting frame and the plastic front camera holder inside the phone rather than still attached to the screen as they should be.

I believe this is probably caused by failing to remove the two Pentalobe screws next to the charging port before removing the screen. If that's the case, the LCD frame would remain locked to the case and this would be the result. I would imagine it's a lot more difficult to get the LCD off than it should be in that case.

I've marked with colored arrows where the parts are vs. where they should be on the display.

Anyway, what has to be done now is to remove all those parts I marked on the phone. If not already done, remove the Pentalobe screws! The bottom part of the screen frame cannot be removed without taking out those two screws.

Use something thin to slip between the display frame and the phone frame and follow the screen removal instructions to cut the adhesive all the way around. Once that's done, it should be simple to lift all of those parts away from the phone's frame. Flip them over and lay them on the old screen to see how they should look.

Remove the earpiece speaker assembly from the old plastic mount and follow the earpiece speaker guide to reinstall it onto the new display. After cleaning the old adhesive from the case and putting on new precut adhesive. everything should be ready to reinstall the screen. Don't forget the Pentalobe screws.
