Unable to remove logic board after opening shell. Just pull harder?

Thanks for the guide! However once I have separated the shells, the logic board still seems attached. Not sure if I just need to be pulling harder, but it definitely feels like there is another post I can’t see?

If it’s relevant, this is specifically the Halo Reach Ltd Edition version of the controller.

looks like youve got all the screws removed.

try lifting gently around the headphone charging port and see if its caught on anything.

did u spill anything on it before? maybe something sticky? in which case yes youll need to pull harder. its very odd that it wont separate. just take it slow and be sure to look and see where its “tighter” than other places. so like lift one side of the PCB and see if theres any play in the board. that might give you a clue as to where its getting caught.

Thanks! Nothing spilled on it, but it seems like the central plastic post was a bit expanded and was holding onto the logic board tightly. Used a lever just under the board near the center post and it popped off easily enough.

Sorry about the waste of time, but maybe it will be helpful for anyone else struggling with it

@shaundave if you learned something it wasnt a waste of time, also someone else might find this and save them the hassle also! glad you got it removed!~
