Screen replacement. Is it possible to just replace the glass

I used the picks and suction cup to seperare the glass from the main body. And the shiny part came off now i cant see the screen. I think i screwed up havent replaced amoled before. Its likr a technicolor shade for both the glass and the main body

I have seen a few videos that say it is possible. One technique is Quick deep freezing the phone. this is a very expensive freezer. So probably not a DIY option. Some say possible with Dry ice. And then there is Heat and a very thin piece of metal that you slide between the digitizer and the glass. I have the tools to do this. And going to try it on a note 8 soon. but I have a full screen to replace it with in case it does not work. Also seen a lot of bad stories trying the above methods. So not sure how dependable they are.

@idontfixitwell Remember this is very risky. And my understanding is that most do NOT end in success unless you have a Lot of experience doing it. I plan on trying it but have a seperate full screen I purchased just in case I mess it up.

OLED displays are very difficult to do DIY glass only repairs on. At this point, you’ll need to order a whole screen assembly.
