rubbing noise when starting the mixer

My kitchenAid Mixer started to make a horrible rubbing loud noise when I start it. The noise stops after it runs for a while. What’s wrong w it??? :-(

@jeramir3 what kind of noise? Can you make out from where the noise originates (top/ bottom etc.)/ Your mixer is a KitchenAid K45SSWH?

It almost sounds like a rubbing grinding noise. Sounds like it’s coming from the top. Not sure where though. Goes away after it runs a while. But it sounds horrible and it’s never done that before
