When I try to power on the power button and keyboard keep blinking.
I did try removing the battery and re-seating it but that did not help.
I will appreciate any assistance as I am in an remote area and need my laptop to access my data on it.

Try a full power refresh and check if that resolves the problem.
Here’s how:
i). Disconnect the charger if connected and shutdown the laptop if on.
ii). Disassemble the laptop and remove the main battery.
iii). Disconnect the coin cell RTC battery from the systemboard. Here’s the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop. Go to p.76 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove the coin cell battery.
iv). Press and hold the laptop’s Power On button for a full 30 seconds and then release.
v). Reconnect the coil cell battery, reinsert the main battery, reassemble the laptop, connect the charger and try turning the laptop on.

Reseat the ram it maybe bad ram I would loop up light codes online it will tell you what is wrong with it
