Can I replcae the display without the touch digitizer

Hello,

i bought a replacement UHD for my Dell 15 Inspiron 7559

I now have realized that in the following video he has worked with the non touch version of the notebook.

Can I still replace the display? My touch digitizer is still working, only the display loses "liquid". Or is a "simple" replace as in the video in the touch version not possible?
