I tried to do a factory reset on my JBL tuner. I plugged into my acer chromebook. Everything was going fine until I was going to eject. I must have clicked in the wrong place , because the usb connection dropped. Now the display shows : " No update file" My speaker will not respond in anyway, regardless of which codes I try. Also it will no longer connect by usb.
Ist dies eine gute Frage?
Disconnect from the laptop, press and hold 4 buttons at once, {DAB/FM} + {VOLUME-} + {BT}+{VOLUME+}, worked for me.

Ich hatte heute das gleiche Problem beim JBL DAB Tuner 2: Batterie voll, aber trotzdem "Nichts geht mehr". Dann suchte ich die kärglichen Bedienungsanweisungen. Dort fand ich in Klammern im Kleinstdruck: Reset auf Werksauslieferung: Blutooth und 1 gleichzeitig mindestens 10 sec. drücken. Hat funktioniert!

Well the saga continues.
I let my speaker stand for two and half days until the battery was empty. I then charged it up - With a full battery I once again tried to do a factory reset. I powered up the speaker. Took my very best usb cable and plugged into my acer chromebook.Once again I received the message about the update. This time I was very careful where and how I clicked.I proceeded thus; alt+right clicked. The correct sub menu appeared. Eject usb.
This I did. But to my dismay, instead of switching off , I once again watched the same message appear on the display.
" No update file " and as before it was frozen. It would not power down or do anything ,regardless of which codes I tried to enter.
But I am very stubborn and will not give in. The battle of dominance continues. This little jewel will conform.
