Display have darker band and sleep mode problem

Hi, my MacBook Air late 2018 has giving me some problem at the display after some water went on the keyboard, the display have now a darker portion and it show each program I opened in that area, shaded. This problem of showing previous program happens even after a restart during boot; also when I put it in sleep mode the display remains black, I have to close the lid for some minutes and then open it to see something. I want to sell the parts of my macbook cause besides this it’s working, also I don’t think it’s worth to fix it. What I should put on the listing, broken display or motherboard?

If I were you I would sell it as it is if you want it sold fast as it does still function and you would be surprised at how many people will use a laptop in a semi functional state:-)

Just make sure to mention that it has a issue with the screen

I would probably list it for roughly these prices

£300

$360

€355

That’s what I would say is fair as these prices are in between broken and used

Hi, thanks for the answer, do you think I could make more money if I sell specific parts? Cause I already removed logic board and display. But If you think that the game isn't worth the candle I will sell it as it is.

You probably would yes

However

It would take quite a bit longer to sell all the parts

I would sell it as a whole as it’s less hassle and you get it sold faster

If you let me know what currency you use I can give you a fair price for all the components:-)

I'm writing from Italy, currency is euros. Just to mention that the case and display are slightly dented, just to know which parts must be sold with the logic board?

You need to sell the fingerprint sensor and logicboard together

Everything else can be sold separately

I would list the logicboard for€200

Display for €60

Metal housing with trackpad,keyboard and battery for €270
