I took my hard drive out of my Pavilion 14 and put it into this new Pavilion laptop, when I broke the screen on the old one. It works, but it is extremely laggy, no matter what Wi-Fi I used it is still slow. What software is there that can help with the lag, and is there a reason the laptop isn’t running like it should?

@oldturkey03 I have no idea what model. And I solved the issue by going to the Task Manager, which showed my memory at 81% capacity. So I selected all items and ended their task. They all stopped running, moving the memory usage back to 51%. Now the laptop runs smoothly.

@pugmaster04 do you have a make and model for the HDD? Have you reinstalled the OS (What OS are you using)?

I now have a much better laptop and that same SSD is now in an SSK case and I use it as an external hard drive.
