Drop my MacBook. USB port dead with message "USB accessories disabled"
Hi Guys.
I accidentally drop my macbook and dented the right hand side of it. The right USB port is dead and I got the message "USB Accessories Disabled - Unplug the accessory using too much power to re-enable USB devices". Sometimes the message shows up, sometimes it's not. The SD and HDMI port are working normally though.
I noticed a few things:
- For some random days, I put it on sleep mode at full battery but after 2 or 3 days without any usage, the battery is fully drained.
- The battery sensor shows that the battery temp goes to approx 37-39 deg C. While on another same macbook of mine, it hardly goes above 31 deg C.
Following some search on google, I decided to buy a new right I/O board hoping it would fix but it did not. Does anyone know how to fix this? I can do some general replacement, but I am not an electronics guy.
I attached here some photos, including the I/O board and the damage. Thanks!
Ist dies eine gute Frage?
