Flexkabel neu plazieren bringt nichts.

Wie kann ich feststellen ob Audio board oder logic board oder das flexkabel selbst das problem ist? (Optisch scheint alles i.o.)

Diese Frage beantworten Ich habe das gleiche Problem

Ist dies eine gute Frage?

@cstanner do you have sound when you connect some headphones?

@cstanner hast Du sound, wenn Du einen Kopfhörer anschließt?

no, sound board is not recognized (not shown in audio settings, strike through audio symbol)

hi , sounds like it cannot find your audio board. Check this guide https://de.ifixit.com/Anleitung/Retina+M... schritt 16 and 17 and make sure that cable is properly inserted. Just verify that it is. Make sure everything is properly connected and that the cable is properly inserted. Have you done an SMC reset already?

Ok, did it once more.

Dis- and reconnected the audio on birth sides of the ribbon

SMC ( and PRAM for good measure) reset

Still nothing.

Is there a way to know if either the audio board or ribbon connectors or logic board are faulty?

@oldturkey03 I really appreciate your time, thanks!

Not sure how to get the thing running in a position to use any multimeter though, I'll give it a shot.

Re the Board files: overbearing gdrive wont let me download the .exe

"Sorry, this file is infected with a virus.

Only the owner is allowed to download infected files."

@cstanner the strange thing is that this all started after you changed the battery. I would have thought that at most this would be caused by a bad connector. Yes, it could be the flex but what I do not like is that your audio is not even recognized. Anyhow. If you need to get really deep into this, you can check the connector for signal/power. J6799 is the connector where the flex connects to.

Looks like 5V on #5 1.5V on #17 and 3.3V on #10

No information available on the audio board yet.
