Philips TV sound, ambilight, image work but backlight turns off

I have a Philips 55PUS6754/24 model TV.

It went dark while playing video. Now when turned on, the backlight flashes, showing the Philips logo and then turn off. The picture can be seen with a flashlight.

I opened the TV suspecting burnt LEDs but the LEDs seem fine. Turning ON the TV, all the LEDs flash with full power (see picture below). Seems like the TV simply turns off the power to the LEDs after that initial boot. Any help would be appreciated.
