I installed the IKBC3842 several weeks ago and it was working perfectly until today. It is not playing any sound, from any source. The device is on, it is not muted, and I have tried several volumes, disc's, and radio stations. Am I missing something or is the device defective?

I had the same problem. I unplugged the unit for about 30 seconds and plugged it back in and the sound worked!!! Hope that helps and works for others too!!!

I had the same problem, and unplugged it and waited for 30 seconds. Plugged it back in, and it worked fine. So weird. Problem with this thing is that it always is blaring when it turns on despite being listened to at a very low volume when it was shut off. Very annoying. We thought the speakers blew out, but unplugging it fixed the no volume issue. Hope it helps!

That worked! Thank You Thank you! I really did not want to go through the hassle of removing from under the cabinet. And then having to return the radio. God bless you!
