Last week (after about 26 months of functionality) condensation appeared on our Nest Outdoor Cam. Any ideas how to remedy?

Remove the camera from its mount, purchase some silica gel granules (about 100g should be enough) place the camera in a zip seal bag with the silica gel granules and zip seal the bag. Allow the silica gel to work for 48 hours then test the camera before refitting it to its mount. If any condensation remains repeat the process unit the view is free of condensation.

For my Nest camera, the USB cable going to the brick was installed in the sunlight, causing the cable to degrade and leak inside the camera's body. Condensation built up, although the camera continued to work for a while. It now goes offline and back online. I took it apart, dried everything out and cleaned it, and reassembled it, sealing the cable extra well and wrapping the cable well with electrical tape. It is going to be reinstalled under a different area, outdoors, but out of the sunlight and away from any weather.
