Laptop turns on but has black screen

My Lenovo laptop tens on but there is no display it just doesn’t work please help

Hi,

Can you hear the Windows startup sound (if enabled)?

Connect an external monitor (TV?) to the laptop's HDMI port and check if there's a display on it when the laptop is turned on. Don't forget to press the F10 key (or Fn + F10) to toggle the display between the laptop screen and the external monitor.
