5 How to unencrypt the hard drive without admin access?
the laptop has sat on a shelf collecting dust for about 2-3 years, as its a work computer that was just given to my mom after they stopped working for the company that owned this laptop, and obviously they aren't wanting this computer from us, as its been about 2 years.
the device uses eSET encryption, and i can't unencrypt the hard drive without admin access, is there anyway to unencrypt the hard drive without admin?
(also i plan on literally just giving this to my dad to use this a personal computer, so im not doing any shady stuff with the business info, i just want to reinstall windows🤷♀️)
Ive tried
using a thumb drive to reinstall win 10
reinstall win 10 via the cloud
deleting eSET, gives me a error that "you must unencrypt all drives before uninstalling eSET" (that requires admin btw)
installing chromeOS flex (but my thumb drive wouldn't work :( )
help??
would i have no option other than to get a new hard drive?
