Ds turns on but shows Red Light on brightest settings/games.

I have a total of 3 systems with this issue. Two ds lites and one fat ds. All these consoles had the same repair which was the replacement of the f2 fuse. They used to not power on at all but now they do after the repair. However, now they constantly show a red light on the brightest settings or running games. They show a green light idling and on low brightness settings. The fat ds flickers back and forth from orange to green depending on how demanding the game is.

What I have tried:

Reflowing the fuse.

Trying several different batteries.

Continuity tested a few things near it or the f1 and L2 fuse (relatively new to this kind of testing).

Trying different motherboards and confirmed it's just these ones.

Fully charging batteries.

Any ideas? I can find absolutely nothing to help me with this.

@talons how old are those batteries? Sounds like they might be on the last leg.

I have no clue but they work fine with different motherboards and work normally I have tried all 6 of my batteries which are OEM. Also on the brightest settings the system itself says it's dying and then on low says it's full. So I am pretty sure it's not the batteries.

@talons this "brightest settings the system itself says it's dying and then on low says it's full." to me says it's a battery that can no longer supply a full charge. Greatest power consumption will be by a bright light and the battery can't supply that. It fails under load.

@oldturkey03 As I have stated I tested the batteries on different systems and they work and hold a charge I have tested several batteries. The chances of all 6 being faulty are extremely slim especially when they work as intended on other systems even on the brightest settings.

@talons "work as intended on other systems even on the brightest settings." that is the detail you did not mention. Anyhow, do you have an ammeter? See how many amps your DS lite is pulling. You've cleaned your motherboards and checked the traces and components? Any corrosion found before you cleaned them?
