Pixel 7a proximity sensor not working after screen replacement

Hi everyone,

I bought the repair Kit for the pixel 7a and followed all instructions from ifixit for the replacement. Also configured the fingerprint sensor again. It seems that the proximity sensor is not working anymore. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Do i need to install the sensor again? Same as the fingerprint sensor?

I have the same problem. the background light of the sensor no longer works for me
