Digitizer replacement but middle portion is unresponsive

I replaced the broken digitizer on my switch lite which was yellow with a grey one since I reshelled it as well and the new grey one works only around the perimeter but not in the middle for some reason I've read that the V1 V2 switches have different versions of digitizers and that causes this issue if you install the incorrect version but nothing on the lite version is it the same thing where each color is it's own version of the digitizer and it can't be changed to another color?
