My control sticks are suddenly not responding

My control sticks stopped working out of the blue, my left stick sometimes works and sometimes does not, but the left stick is completely not working at all, sometimes other keyboard controls stop working as well.

The device itself is working fine, which lead me to think it was a keyboard issue so I tried connecting my switch lite to a pro controller but to my surprise the issue persists even after connecting the pro controller, which means the problem might be with the motherboard I'm assuming? I'm not tech savvy and I can't really afford to get it checked out by a repair shop, can anyone help me to at least figure out what the problem might be?
